We are Rāranga, a unique partnership with Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira.
We believe in helping people build careers, not just find jobs. We take people and knowledge and weave them together into a stronger future.
We’re developing and growing leaders for the future of Aotearoa’s construction industry by providing people a complete pathway to the career they want.
We work with each candidate to set career goals, then wrap a development and education framework around them to support them in achieving those goals.

A partnership for strength and growth
Through partnership, LT McGuinness and Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira have created Rāranga. Te Rūnanga O Toa Rangatira is the iwi authority and administrative body for Ngāti Toa Rangatira in the Wellington Region. They’re working for a strong, vibrant and influential iwi firmly grounded in cultural identity and leading change to enhance wellbeing and prosperity. LT McGuinness is a Wellington based, third generation family owned construction company. For over 70 years they’ve been involved in the construction, refurbishment and fit-out of many leading Wellington buildings. They have a deep love for Wellington, it’s people and a desire to see it continue to develop and thrive.
Toa Rangatira Marae was opened in 1901 in Takapuwahia. It was built on ancestral land and it was named after the chief Toa Rangatira of the Ngāti Toa iwi.
